Bill Longua is the Resort’s resident tennis professional. Bill is a native of Montclair, New Jersey but the warmth and feeling of Florida’s sunshine has been the draw to Palm Island. Tennis has been Bill’s life, and he was fortunate to attend Iona College in New Rochelle on a tennis scholarship with post graduate tenures with the programs at Nashua Swim & Tennis Club and the Racquet Club of Concord.

RESORT TENNIS PROGRAM includes unlimited complimentary play, a complimentary round robin every Saturday and affordable clinics for both adults and future stars to include one cardio tennis clinic. During holiday weekends, the round robin is geared more to family play for those of all ages.

9 Surrounding Southwest Florida Golf Courses

To swing a club instead of a racquet, Palm Island Resort is conveniently located to 9 golf courses within 25 minutes from the Resort. Challenging play is unlimited should you wish to travel further for PGA Tournament courses open to the public in Sarasota.
